The price on a luxurious estate sprawling 22,000 square feet in metro Phoenix’s Gold Canyon community has been cut from $12.5 million to $6.9 million.
Even with the markdown, the home with 10 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms is still one of the priciest houses for sale in the southeast Valley.
The owner Burkes Global Properties spent almost $14 million to develop the mansion on the tallest point in the Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club.
The stone-façade estate with sweeping views of the mountains comes with a 2,000-square-foot guesthouse, multiple bars including one with an old West theme, an indoor basketball court, wine cellar, billiards room and six-car garage.
Suzanne Rabold with West USA Realty has the listing for the mansion.
Only one house in metro Phoenix’s Southeast Valley is listed for sale for more than the Gold Canyon mansion. A 15,000 square-foot home on Kyrene Road in Chandler on Kyrene Road is on the market for $8.75 million. It was listed for $12 million in 2007.
