Shea Homes Arizona announced its 66 homes around the Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley will go up for sale June 10, with starting prices around $2 million.
If you've got a couple million dollars and want to live near a swanky resort in Paradise Valley, some new homes hit the market June 10.
The 66 luxury homes in Shea Homes' Azure community will range from 3,800 to 6,700 square feet. Azure homes will feature ranch-style layouts and a modern style that blends the indoors and outdoors.
The community will be landscaped with native trees, plants and cacti to contrast the homes' contemporary architecture and yard fences made of smooth block and stone.
The homes are situated within walking distance of 25 restaurants and, eventually, the Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley, which is slated to open in late 2018. Five Star Development, the Ritz-Carlton's developer, could not be reached for comment on the project's progress.

Ken Peterson, Shea Homes vice president of sales and marketing, said the homes were designed for people who wanted to downsize, but retain the luxuries of a large home.
"A lot of these buyers are downsizing from larger homes," Peterson said. "We still wanted to replicate the livability of a home that’s much larger."
Buyers can begin moving in as early as September and as late as June 2018. Homes will start around $2 million and go up.
Shea expects a strong turnout. The neighboring Ritz project sold 91 homes in record time last year.
To register for the sale, prospective buyers can call 480-385-1620 or visit www.azurepvliving.com. The sales gallery is at 6720 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 120.
