All of the priciest houses to sell in metro Phoenix last week were in Scottsdale. It's rare for a Paradise Valley home to not make the list.

$6,500,000

A Minnesota LLC called J 14 paid cash for a new 6,210-square-foot home in north Scottsdale’s Estancia community. The house with four bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms has panoramic views of Pinnacle Peak, a massive great room and floor-to-ceiling windows and pocket doors. Anthony Salcito, president of Salcito Custom Homes, was the seller.

$5,385,000

Jeffery and Shantal Pont paid cash for a 7,919-square-foot mansion in north Scottsdale’s Troon community. Jeffery is the owner of the California-based trucking companies AP Express and Champion Logistics. The Spanish Moor-inspired house has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a three-story fountain, a large paver driveway and a six-car garage. Jody Marano, the daughter of Anthony Marano, who founded the largest tomato distributor in Chicago, was the seller.

$4,750,000

Paul and Brenda Klister bought a 5,150-square-foot house in north Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain community. Paul is a partner with the Wisconsin-based real estate firm Commercial Horizons. The house comes with four bedrooms, 4 ½ bathrooms, a primary suite with an office, a casita, an oversized great room and a chef’s kitchen with a large hidden pantry as well as Taj Mahal quartzite countertops on a 16-foot island. Stacie Palmer sold the home.

$4,475,000

Michael and Marla Delaney paid cash for a 9,377-square-foot north Scottsdale mansion. Michael is chief aerospace safety officer at Boeing. The house has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Jason Kimbrell was the seller.

$3,850,000

Judy Olian and Peter Liberti purchased a 4,899-square-foot house in north Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain community. She is president of Connecticut’s Quinnipiac University. The new house with five bedrooms and 4½ bathrooms also comes with a resort-style pool, spa and veranda. Donald and Holly Schreiber were the sellers. Laura Lester of Silverleaf Realty had the listing.
