Former Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Matt Williams and his wife, Erika, sold the priciest home in metro Phoenix during the past week. Their former Paradise Valley mansion has more than 15,000 square feet of space.
Matt Williams, who played for the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants, and his wife, TV personality Erika Williams, sold their 15,300-square-foot Paradise Valley estate that has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
Mahmoud Majed and Habeebah Abboushi paid cash for the home that was listed for $8.2 million last year. The mansion next to Camelback Mountain is situated on two acres. The master suite has a domed indoor spa, a salon and a private gym. The home also comes with a billiards room, a movie theater and a wine cellar.
Scottsdale personal injury attorneys Craig Knapp and Dana Roberts of Knapp & Roberts paid cash for a 9,932-square-foot home in north Scottsdale’s Silverleaf community. The house with six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and a six-car garage is known as the Villa in Pietra or Stone Village. The Tuscan-style estate is situated on 4.3 acres and has two outdoor showers, dual limestone fireplaces, Venetian plaster and cobblestone walls.

Darryn and Ellen Dieken of Shelton, Washington, purchased a 7,080-square-foot home in the north Scottsdale golf community Estancia. The house with four bedrooms and seven bathrooms is “Frank Lloyd Wright inspired” and comes with stone walls, beamed ceilings, limestone walls, his and her offices and an exercise room.
Gregory and Mignon Stetman sold the home. Mike Holder, Debbie Negrin, Jay Pennypacker and Will Foote of Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty had the listing.
Robert Robson bought a 7,791-square-foot house with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms on the Phoenix side of the Arcadia neighborhood. The house comes with hand-scraped walnut plank floorings, two custom-stone fireplaces imported from Europe, a guesthouse and a motor court.

Jeffrey and Hilary Smedsrud of Minneapolis paid cash for a 5,779-square-foot home in Scottsdale’s Estancia community. The home with four bedrooms and 5 ½ bathroom comes with walls of glass, three guest suites and an open kitchen and a family room.
