None of the houses on last week’s list of the priciest metro Phoenix home sales are located in Paradise Valley, the region’s priciest area. Most of the houses are in north Scottsdale, the Valley’s second-priciest enclave.
The Breakwater Master Holdings Trust led by Saif Mansour bought a new home on the Phoenix side of the Arcadia neighborhood. The original house on the site was built in 1956. The new house wasn’t listed for sale, so there’s no more information about it.
The seller was an LLC named after the home’s address that bought the property for $1.1 million in 2019.
John and Rebecca Bowen purchased a 5,725-square-foot home with four bedrooms and 4½ bathrooms in north Scottsdale. The house, located on 3.87 acres, comes with an east wing that includes two bedrooms and a billiards room. The “owners retreat” is located in the west wing. The home also has 12-foot windows and new Italian marble flooring.

The Lost Canyon Trust paid cash for a 4,500-square-foot home in north Scottsdale’s DC Ranch community. The home, with four bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms, was recently renovated. It also has an office, a theater, a steel and glass front door and French oak flooring.
The Gorder Trust led by Steven and Stacie Gorder sold the home.
Brian and Maria Henricks bought a 7,100-square-foot home in north Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain community. The house with six bedrooms and 5½ bathrooms comes with a lush auto court, a casita, a library with a bar and a remodeled chef’s kitchen.

Roger and Betty Cassidy paid cash for a 4,508-square-foot house with four bedrooms and 4½ bathrooms in north Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain community. Roger Cassidy is a retired health care executive. The modern home has walls of rock inside and out, floor- to-ceiling windows and a resort-style backyard with a pool.
