Being a YouTube personality pays.
Big.
How big? A couple famous as YouTube personalities paid cash — nearly $7 million — for the most expensive single-family lot sale ever in Arizona.
Alia Shelesh, who goes by SSSniperwolf, and Even Young, who goes by Evan Sausage, bought the 2.25 acres of vacant land on top of Mummy Mountain in Paradise Valley for $6,990,000.
So who are SSSniperwolf and Evan Sausage?
She’s huge on YouTube, with more than 31 million subscribers. She started out as a gamer and branched out into reaction videos — videos in which she reacts to people doing various things.
Why would anyone want to watch someone react to someone else doing something? Ask the army of people who watch her videos. They get millions of views. Sometimes tens of millions. “Hi I'm SSSniperWolf!” she says in the “about” information on her site. “You can call me Lia, sniper wolf or sssniperwolf! I love gaming and making videos!”
Evan Sausage, meanwhile, has 443,000 YouTube subscribers. Some of his more popular videos fall under the category “Scaring SSSniperwolf!” In those, he does just that.
In the “about” information on his site, Evan Sausage says, “I'm Sausage but you can call me Evan! I upload awesome gaming videos, funny stuff, my weight loss transformation journey, and more!”
Not in a while, he hasn’t. He evidently hasn’t posted a new video in a couple of years.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, SSSniperwolf and Evan Sausage recently sold a home in Las Vegas for $4 million. They bought the 4,999 square-foot home, with three bathrooms and four baths, along with an infinity pool and spa, for $2.9 million in 2019.
